Star Buy: Estee Lauder Blockbuster makeup set 2007
Estee Lauder does a bumper makeup set every year which is called a Blockbuster special. Its an annual gift set that usually comes out around this time for the end of year festive season. This makes a very good gift for:
- yourself;
- the woman in your life;
- a good starter gift for a girl who’s just starting with makeup;
- an excellent makeup starter set for a working girl
In a gold makeup case, you will receive:
- A palette of 10 eyeshadows
- A palette of 4 blushes
- 3 lipsticks
- 3 lip glosses
- 1 lip pencil
- 1 eye liner pencil
- 1 mascara
- A set of makeup brushes
- 1 travel toiletry pouch
Its RM218 for the whole set with any RM180 purchase of Estee Lauder products. It isn’t hard to find something to purchase for RM180 at the Estee Lauder counter. I don’t use a lot of Estee Lauder makeup but I must say that their makeup is of good quality and this is a value for money package. The only thing I don’t quite like are the makeup brushes which I feel are not up to par.
RM400 may seem a lot to pay out at one go, but if you aren’t fussy, this makeup set will be all you’ll ever need. Available at all Estee Lauder counters nationwide.

The Blockbuster 2008 is out but I don’t like it as much as the 2007 version. This time, everything is in black, the case, the makeup pallete and the brushes. They have 12 eye shadows but only 3 blushers. Added a makeup remover (huge bottle) but took out a lipgloss too. Well, I am still using my 2007 and will skip this one.
I am interested in 2008 blockbuster offer but it seems they haven’t started with it. Not able to find out this in any store and on net as of now.
I bought this gift set when it came out and I absolutely love it and it still lasts till this day.
