Health Screenings at Pathlab

I stumbled upon an ad on the Pathlab site that entitles online members to a free cholesterol test at Pathlab. It says it is open only to online members so you’d have to sign up for it. I already have the cholesterol test as part of my regular health checkup. However, if you don’t have a medical plan that offers free health check ups, then you might want to take the free test to see how you are faring in the cholesterol department.

I also saw that there is a Pathlab Health Screen + H. Pylori + CRP only at RM120. It says it is a newspaper advertisement, but they don’t say which newspaper. I’ve stopped buying newspapers for a while so I can’t tell you either. H. Pylori has been associated with stomach cancer just like asbestos has been associated with mesothelioma so it is useful to know if you have this bacteria in your stomach. If detected, it can be easily treated with a dose of antibiotics.
