Sex and the City Manolos
When I first read about the famous blue Manolo Blahniks made for the Sex and the City movie, I was amazed at the hype created over a pair of shoes. Granted, they are gorgeous shoes and which girl hasn’t dreamed of owning a pair of Manolos once in her life? Its like owning a cream satin pair of Jimmy Choos for your wedding!
Perhaps I’m just not that into shoes as I am into bags and other things. I was at Shuz in KLCC once where they were having a sale. Even at a 70% discount, Manolo Blahniks were still in the higher end of the 3 digit spectrum. How lah to afford?!
Fortunately, most of the designs available were not tempting enough for me to blow my credit limit over and after testing them, I did not find them as comfortable as Jimmy Choo stilettoes. I guess its a case of one woman’s shoe is another’s ankle-twisting horror
