Tip: Be careful when moving your LCD TV
Ok this isn’t really a shopping tip but more of an assembly tip. You know the flat panel mount or tv stand that your LCD tv sits on? That skinny bit that doesn’t look like it could hold up the tv?
Well, make sure that piece is slotted in tight because if it isn’t and you attempt to move your tv from one spot to another, that piece can drop off onto your toe causing you:-
a) A lot of pain; and
b) A lot of money if you drop the TV!
It happened to me. Fortunately I held onto the TV tight. But my poor toe nail turned black then purple from the impact. So be warned!
