Be careful with your credit cards
Recently, a friend of mine had a spot of trouble with his credit card. One of the outlets he went to did not have the usual credit card processing machine or it was offline so they used one of those manual ones. I’m not sure if its a portable credit card machine but what happened was that his card was damaged!
Fortunately for him, the bank agreed to replace the card without charges. But it got me wondering whether it was the fault of the machine or the quality of the credit card?
Either way, it pays to be careful. If the sales people look like they don’t know how to handle the credit card machine, skip it and come back later when the proper machine is working!

I’m going to check out the grocery department as well as household departments. I need a nonstick pot and this will be a good time to get one!

An expensive clothes hanger
Living in a condominium has its advantages. I no longer feel the need to check out fitness equipment sales or consider buying a treadmill because I can just use the one in the in house gym. I also save money on gym membership.
This was brought to mind when I noticed a fitness store delivering a treadmill to a neighbouring unit recently. Not very long after that, I noticed that it was being used as a clothes hanger for rainy days. An expensive one? Yes indeed!
