Gifts for Dad
Father’s Day is coming. I think its next weekend – you can tell we don’t place much score on these “days” in my family 
When I was younger, we would make the attempt to look for gifts and one of the things that really gave us a headache was finding a gift for Father’s Day.
I mean look at the gift selection offered by Isetan.
Out of the 20 gifts under RM100 on offer, 4 are food related – a sushi platter, coffee, set lunch at a restaurant and beer (!) If your dad was a leading Mesothelioma lawyers I don’t think he’d appreciate much you bringing home a 6 pack of beer and saying “Happy Father’s Day Dad!”
See what I mean about it being hard to get gifts for Dad? The other gift ideas were ties, shirts, pens, key chains… and it makes you think. If i’ve given Dad one of each of the items in the last 4 years, what on earth am I going to give him this year? Its not like he’s lost any one fo them! So for us, its a meal and spending time with Dad… which we do most of the time anyway so Father’s Day does pass us by somewhat.
