Not about sales but about shopping

Elianto & Bonita Warehouse sale

The Elianto & Bonita warehouse sale is back! At their warehouse in Shamelin Perkasa in Cheras you can get discounts on already cheap products which is a good thing not like going for spine surgery Mexico haha!

So if you are planning to go pick up something, look out for the nail polish, eyeshadow and blush. They were going for a song at the last sale and might be too at this sale. Good time too to pick up gifts for xmas.

Vichy has Holiday sets

Speaking of acne treatment, you can try the Vichy Normaderm range of products which are tailored for oily and acne prone skin.

Not having either at this point of my life, I found it a little drying but some people i’ve recommended it to say it works well for them. Vichy has some special sets for Christmas where you can get the Cleanser, Toner and Moisturizer under the Normaderm range and Aqua Thermale range (for moisture) in a cute little pouch. Available at all Vichy counters nationwide.

Famous derms need patience

I’d first heard of a famous and popular dermatologist in KL – one Dr. Ting who was very popular for his acne treatments and laser treatment. I’d seen his clinic before and seen the hordes of people standing outside but it did not strike me that there was a queue until one day I needed his services.

Not for acne, but for a skin ailment which he promptly cured. However, I realised much patience is needed for we had to wait outside the clinic way before he opened the doors just to secure an appointment. Then you have to wait hours before your turn is called.

Yes it worked and those people I know who are undergoing treatments with him sing his praises but if you are the impatient sort, you might have to look elsewhere.

Craiglist apartments

When I went to Hong Kong last, we booked an apartment through Craiglist. It was the first time I’d ever used the service and was quite apprehensive. It turned out to be a good deal especially in a city like Hong Kong where hotels are very expensive. We would have paid almost triple what we did by renting an apartment.

I don’t know about Scottsdale apartments but I am now considering vacation rentals if I travel in a group. We save money and have a decently large place to crash out at the end of a tiring day sightseeing and shopping vs staying in a pokey little hotel room!
