Horse riding costs
I contemplated taking up horse riding once but the price of equestrian apparel and the cost of learning and maintaining a horse put paid to that intention. I was told that whilst I could rent the hat and boots it was more advisable to buy them so that they fit you better.
Personally, I’d buy my hat and boots too. The thought of wearing someone else’s sweat on your head and cooties in the boots was quite off putting. Perhaps if one day I find myself flush, I could contemplate taking it up again
Kids don’t belong in crowded areas
While I was on holiday recently, I was at a local market and I swear I saw kids with either adhd symptoms or who were fed too much sugar. They were running around making a menace of themselves and their poor harried parents could not shop in peace.
Add to that the danger of kids going missing or getting kidnapped and I can understan the anxiety of the parents. I guess the parents should not have brought them to such crowded areas. Its bad enough having crowds to contend with without having to worry about kids getting lost too!
Honouring the lower price
You know when the barcode scanners give you a different price from that on the price tag, which do you think the store ought to honour? The higher price on the tag or the lower price as scanned?
I’ve seen some stores state that they’d honour the lower price tag as scanned. Some others don’t. If they scan a lower price as compared to the tag, they’ll charge you the higher price.
I don’t think thats very right do you?
Drive safely and save
Did you know you can get cheaper car insurance if you drive safely? Yeah most of us know it as NCB – No Claim Bonus.
So long as you do not make a claim on your car insurance, you will get a “bonus” that allows you to off set a certain percentage against your future car insurance premiums. The maximum is 55% which is what we all strive to maintain, especially if you are intending to buy a new car.
Believe me, the savings can be huge!
