Food reactions
I’d read about people suffering from acne due to food allergies and that things like phisoderm could help. Personally, I’m glad I don’t get acne triggered. I only get an upset stomach
That was how I realized I’d become lactose intolerant. I’d drunk milk as a child with no problems. But I’ve found recently that eating dairy foods like milk and cheese gives me indigestion. So I stay away. Lucky for me I’m not so into dairy foods or I’d really suffer. Its strange though how my tummy reacts this way now that I’ve grown up
Slimming ads on tv are you swayed?
Are you swayed by those “real life weight loss programmes” on tv that show “real people” having lost weight with a particular company? I find them rather repulsive actually.
They are just blatant advertisements for the particular slimming salon and most times we don’t know how much the people have been paid or if they paid anything at all for their treatments, in exchange for a chance to get on tv.
That’s me though. Are you swayed?
Lighten scars and brighten skin
There is a new product out from Clinique Derma White Serum that may not be the answer to acne scars removal but will help lighten scars.
I’m going to try it out and see if it does help lighten pigmentation and brighten skin. Someone told me that it can help reduce the appearance of scars with regular use so its going to be a bit of an experiment for me.
Cards still rule
I’ve noticed that these days although email is popular for sending greetings there are still people buying cards. During Valentines day I saw people actually pick up cards from the counters and pay for them.
Also, we receive a lot of Chinese New Year cards still despite email. I guess sometimes, there is nothing like receiving a card in the mail, be it for Valentines Day, CNY or even a communion invitation. It is old fashioned yet an elegant and formal gesture as befitting a formal ocassion
