I wanted to get a keepsake gift for mom but I wasn’t sure where to look. I thought I’d get her something personalized. Maybe something that I could have a bunch of our photos on. Remind her of us, that sort of thing. But we see her so often I think she sometimes wishes we weren’t around all the time haha!
So I think I’ll just take her away for a holiday this time. Go somewhere nice, have a bit of fun and mother daughter bonding time. It’ll be good 
We went to take a look at some savoy house lighting last weekend. Actually we went to look at chandeliers. There’s this lamp shop near our place that always has all these giant chandeliers in the window and we wanted to see just how much a chandelier would cost. Maybe a teeny one to hang over our dining table. Needless to say, teeny or not we didn’t end up with anything for now. I think we’ll just make do with our lights for now. Its too costly to change anything once you have things put in!
While clearing HB’s closet yesterday I came across tons of mens ties that he has bought and that I have bought over the past years. I mean what else do you get a man? Birthday? Get him a tie. Christmas? Get him a cheery tie. Father’s day? Err ok not qualified. But you get what I mean.
Poor guys. They have nothing else to look forward to but a lifetime of nooses around their necks! HAHA
Was watching the Academy Awards on repeat and was amazed at some of the production jobs. I mean the movies may be crap right? But think of the work that went into it anyway! I didn’t watch most of the Academy Award nominated movies this year. I used to make it a point to, before the awards but this year, most of them slipped my mind. Also, movies like Black Swan just came out here so I didn’t manage to catch it. Still, I don’t know if I will. I hear its dark and scary!
