While I was talking to said doctor who told me acne is a form of skin disease, I asked what was the best way to get rid of pimples. He told me antibiotics. I wonder if that’s just a ploy to sell me some
But he said that topical medicine can only heal some pimples. Others may have a deeper rooted cause and for those you need to treat it from the inside out. Hence antibiotics is key. Yet I’ve also been told that if you are trying for a child you shouldn’t take antibiotics. for obvious reasons. I guess I’m stuck with my gels and creams.
A doctor told me recently that acne is in fact a disease. We don’t get health insurance coverage here for that, but overseas in the States they do. Imagine that eh? I could claim the cost of the tretinoin gel I buy now and again from my insurance company! But I’m glad I’m getting a little older because I’m finally getting the skin I should have had as a teen. We didn’t know about antibiotics then or I wouldn’t have these scars to cover up for now.
We don’t have an in house spa or hot tub (although we have a jacuzzi) but aren’t these spa covers adorable? We use ours quite often so there’s no real use to cover them. Its in our bathroom anyway so what’s there to cover?
Its a bit decadent using a jacuzzi because so much water is involved but we got one of those round ones which I’m told don’t use as much water. Water bill’s still high though!
Talking about boots, here’s more womens boots I can look at. HB is headed to the states for some conference soon (and I’m planning to hitch a ride woohoo!) so I’m doing all the homework I can for now. Boots! We can’t get them here (you’d be mad bonkers to wear boots in the tropics!) so I’m going to go a little nuts while I’m there. Or perhaps I could get aunt in London to get me some cheap ones from Clarks. They go on sale sometimes
