It’s very simple. When you receive this tag, copy the whole list and add your own shopping tip to the bottom and pass it on.

1. Wear comfy clothing when you’re shopping. You don’t wanna fuss with too many laces and buttons when you’re trying clothes on. http://rinnah-marketplace.blogspot.com

2. When buying pants or jeans, try to try them on with a pair of heels so you know its the right length. If you don’t and wear it with heels later, you might find that it hangs at an awkward length. http://www.all-aboutshopping.com

I know these girls are into shopping too!

So how about telling us your tips and tricks?

The Gardens open at Midvalley

After the hype about the opening of the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, comes the opening of yet another much hyped shopping mall - The Gardens at Midvalley.

This is phase 2 of the Midvalley Megamall and the main store that has everyone’s eye on this is Robinsons. I love visiting Robinsons every time I go down to Singapore simply because of the choices available there, and I loved that their sales were genuine and good. I have picked up a multitude of items at the Robinsons’ sale that are all of great quality and price. So I can’t wait to check this out when it opens. I hope it won’t go the way of Debenhams which pulled out after a spell in Berjaya Times Square.

The other major departmental store that will be opening at the Gardens is Isetan. So, 2 major mid-high end department stores will anchor the Gardens and in addition to Carrefour and Jusco anchoring the Phase 1, The Gardens promises to be a place to cater to everyone.

Now, if only they can do something about the traffic system and the parking!

Edit: SNS reports that Robinsons will have opening specials and discounts.

Some tips and tricks to learn from

I previously participated in the Daily Blog Tips Tips and Tricks project and here are 5 tips submitted from various categories that I thought were quite interesting.

The other tips submitted are no less interesting than the 5 I picked up, but we were asked to choose and so I chose. The rest of the tips can be found at the Blog Writing Project. See which ones work for you!

Welcome to the family Kaki Shopping!

I love to read about other people’s shopping exploits - what they like, what they hate, where they found that absolutely darling dress!

So, now that you have found All about Shopping! Come along for the ride and join me in welcoming a new shopping site to the fold, hosted and owned by none other than a good online friend - Giddy Tigers.

Like All about Shopping! I can see that Kaki Shopping will be about shopping in all its forms, rather than a site to inform you about sales and promotions. As Giddy Tiger said in her introduction:

And so I took it upon myself to start this blog, dedicated to shopping and all things related to it. My experiences with shopping, both good and bad, great bargains and perhaps some product reviews will be the main essence of this blog. From shopping for tiny accessories to huge items like a car or a house, I hope you will find this blog a useful reference to enhance your shopping experience.

I’m sure it will be a good read, especially because Giddy Tiger is based in Penang and we don’t hear much about the shopping going ons in Penang.

Welcome to the family Kaki Shopping!
