Not about sales but about shopping

A duck goes quack

Went to a store recently where the door chime took me by surprise. Firstly it was hidden behind a wooden duck. A large wooden duck.

Secondly, it quacked. Yes, quacked as you enter the store. I thought it was adorable! Wanted to ask where they got it or if there were other options – a dog barking maybe – that could act as a deterrent for the home!

But the owner wasnt in. Maybe next time.

Quack!

Change in Management

This blog has been taken over by new management.

The old management thanks you for coming by and the new management welcomes you.

Tax time again

Its tax time again which means the time when we start hunting down tax receipts and receipts for premiums paid for term life insurance now that we have to compile them. Not an easy task if you don’t regularly file away your documents like a friend I know.

Fortunately I do so when the time comes, I just pull out 1 file and I’m good to go. I’m not yet ready to do e-filing though. I’m afraid my information will get lost in cyberspace :P

big people toys

Mobile phones have become the latest toys to have again. At one time, the market for new phones seemed to have stagnated.

But now, with the iPhone and the Blackberry capturing people’s imaginations by storm the race is now on to get the newest hippest mobile. Question is, how long will it last because you get bored and get another? And how much money is getting wasted because of this chase?

I’m happy with mine really even if I feel the tug of a blackberry.
