Book Sales!

I must have been living under a rock to have missed the latest news on the Time’s Book Sale and Pay Less Book Sale. I usually hit up the MPH sale and Big Bookshop sale but lately I haven’t been to either.

Its no wonder my reading material has dried up! I’ve been feeling in the mood for some light crime reading like John Grisham stuff where he features things like Oakland motorcycle accident lawyers or rogue lawyers or anything remotely legal and criminal. I haven’t read John Grisham in ages!

I recently read the late Michael Crichton’s Andromeda Strain and whilst I don’t think he’s the best writer on the planet, he sure can spin a pretty good tale! Time for me to stock up on my books… and maybe another book shelf :P

Estee Lauder Warehouse Sales

If you are up to braving thousands of desperate young women grabbing at discounted Estee Lauder products, then keep a look out for the upcoming Estee Lauder warehouse sale.

If my mac memory serves me, the last time saw girls starting the queue as early as 4am. Yes, my dears, that’s 4 IN THE MORNING! I arrived at 7am thinking I was already very kiasu only to find I was almost out the door!

Rumors are that its in July so keep an eye out, get lots of sleep the night before, strap on your sports shoes, grab a blanket and a bag of McDonalds and get ready to camp out at Renaissance Hotel KL.

I’m not going to be there.

Thinking of upgrades

Nice! now that micro sd cards are getting cheaper by the day, it might be time to upgrade the 1G card I have in my phone. I only use micro SDs in my phone anyway – and the biggest bummer is that I had a 1G card in my old phone that got stolen!

Anyway, since techy stuff are now so cheap I’m going to hunt me down something larger so I can store more photos on my phone. Its suddenly getting handy having a phone that takes good high quality pictures! I wonder if it can handle a 2 or 4G card ;)
